Experienced Anesthesiologist needed for a 40-day locum tenens assignment at a Clinic in Texas. Starting 07/21/2025, this position requires coverage Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with additional weekend call responsibilities (1:4 rotation). The physician will provide general anesthesia services for inpatient, OB, GI, and orthopedic procedures, working alongside 3 MDs and 6 CRNAs in a supervision model. Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide general anesthesia services for various surgical procedures
• Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs in a team-based model
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop anesthesia plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgeries
• Manage post-operative pain and recovery
• Respond to emergencies and complications during procedures
• Participate in weekend call rotations (24-hour shifts)
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EHR
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
• Stay updated on the latest anesthesia techniques and technologies
• Adhere to all clinic policies and anesthesiology protocols
Additional Information:
