We are seeking a self-sufficient Electrophysiologist for a 12-week locum tenens assignment in Florida, starting Jan 5, 2026. Schedule: Mondays, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM; provider must remain available for phone calls until last patient discharge (no call required; strictly outpatient procedure days)
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform 4–6 electrophysiology procedures per day, including Flutter Ablations and Ablations
Deliver care to elderly and adult patients in an outpatient setting
Utilize SIS EMR system for all patient documentation and workflow
Operate independently, as current staff are not experienced in electrophysiology procedures
Collaborate with nurses, technicians, and other doctors as part of the care team
Remain available for patient-related phone calls until all procedures are complete and patients are discharged
Additional Information
Must be licensed in Florida
Board certification and additional certifications not required
Experience with ablations and ability to work autonomously is essential
