Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in Kentucky. This opportunity starts Jan 5, 2026, and spans 84 days, offering 24-hour call shifts with clinic and weeknight call, as well as weekend call coverage. The physician will serve as the primary OB GYN on call for deliveries and C-sections, providing patient care and consults during each scheduled stretch. Experience with deliveries and C-sections is required, and proficiency with Meditech EHR is preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serve as the primary OB GYN on call for deliveries and C-sections during assigned dates
  • Perform typical rounding and patient consults
  • Manage and document patient care using Meditech EHR
  • Adhere to on-site and out-of-house call requirements

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Kentucky medical license required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Must meet case log requirements
  • Experience with deliveries and C-sections is essential
