Perform daily rounding on all inpatients, including those in ICU and stepdown units
Manage new consults and discharge patients as appropriate
See an average of 10-15 patients daily, with a total patient census typically ranging from 20-30
Handle a variety of cases and procedures related to cardiovascular and thoracic surgery
Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation
Additional Information
Active Indiana nurse practitioner license required
Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Comfortable with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases and associated procedures
