Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Critical Care Physician Assistant for a locum tenens night shift assignment in West Virginia. This opportunity starts on Dec 1, 2025, and offers a 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off schedule, typically working 13-14 hour night shifts. Ideal candidates must have prior Cardiac ICU experience and hold current certifications in ACLS and BLS.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide advanced care to critically ill cardiac patients in an intensive care setting
  • Manage and monitor cardiac conditions, treatments, and interventions overnight
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Respond to emergencies and acute changes in patient conditions during night shifts
  • Ensure accurate documentation and communication throughout each shift

Additional Information

  • Must have Cardiac ICU experience
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in West Virginia
