Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct morning inpatient rounds and hospital consults
• Manage follow-up and new patient cases in the hospital setting
• Perform and interpret advanced cardiac procedures, including tilt table testing
• Conduct various types of stress testing (nuclear, exercise, echo, dobutamine)
• Provide outpatient clinic visits, typically seeing 10-14 adult patients per day
• Supervise and interpret non-invasive procedures such as echocardiograms, nuclear/exercise stress tests, and tilt-table evaluations
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals
• Handle ED consults as needed
• Utilize Athenahealth and Meditech EHR systems for patient documentation and management
• Participate in one Saturday morning shift per month (preferred)
Additional Information:
• Must possess an active Colorado Nurse Practitioner license
• Experience with Athenahealth and Meditech EHR systems preferred
• Strong cardiology background and experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
