Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland, commencing Jun 1, 2026. This inpatient role involves comprehensive cardiology care, including daily rounds on cardiology and step-down patients, managing progress notes, ordering tests, and performing new consults alongside attending cardiologists. The schedule focuses on inpatient service, providing a dynamic environment to apply your expertise.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • See patients in the inpatient service
  • Round daily on cardiology and step-down patients
  • Write progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, consults, and discharges
  • Order medications, tests, and procedures as appropriate
  • Perform new consults alongside attending cardiologists
  • Manage general cardiology cases
  • Perform Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
  • Perform cardioversion procedures
