Responsibilities and Duties
- Round daily on all floor-level care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line
- Write daily progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, new consult notes, and discharge summaries
- Order medications, testing, and procedures as indicated
- Perform procedures in the ICU when indicated, including arterial line placement, central line placement, and cardioversion
- Conduct new consults in collaboration with attending physicians
