Job Description

Barton is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiology for a locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This opportunity begins on Oct 1, 2025, and spans 100 days, with a daytime schedule of Monday through Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-4. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Cardiology and hold current ACLS and DEA certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive cardiology care as an advanced practice provider

  • Prescribe and manage medications within the scope of practice
  • Educate patients and families regarding cardiac conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
