Job Description

We are seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon starting Feb 16, 2026. This role offers a weekday schedule: Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The ideal candidate will provide expert cardiovascular care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver advanced practice cardiovascular care in alignment with current clinical guidelines
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiology conditions
  • Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and monitor treatment efficacy and safety
  • Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Adhere to facility protocols and standards of care

Additional Information

  • Oregon nurse practitioner license required
  • Board certification in Cardiology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • DEA registration required
  • Experience in cardiology as an advanced practice provider strongly preferred
