Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Physician Assistant for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting on Oct 6, 2025. The role involves day shifts from 7am to 7pm, 7 days per week, focusing on comprehensive care in the cardiology service line.

Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Round daily on all floor level care patients in the general cardiology service.
  • Write daily progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, and new consult notes.
  • Discharge patients and order medications, testing, and procedures as indicated.
  • Perform procedures in the ICU including arterial line placement, central line placement, and cardioversion.
  • Conduct new consults in collaboration with attending MD.

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active North Carolina license and DEA.
  • Board certification in Cardiology required.
  • Previous experience with the Cerner EMR system is advantageous.
