We are seeking a dedicated Cardiology Physician Assistant for a full-time outpatient role in Oregon, beginning on Aug 11, 2025. This 80-day locum tenens assignment offers a Monday to Thursday schedule, 7:30am-5:30pm, with no call responsibilities, providing an excellent balance of professional rigor and personal time management.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage follow-up visits including medication adjustments and chronic care for 45 minutes per patient.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and laboratory tests.
  • Provide comprehensive patient education on lifestyle counseling, risk factor modification, and medication compliance.
  • Coordinate care by collaborating with cardiologists, primary care physicians, and other specialties to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Triage acute cardiac issues, assessing symptoms like chest pain or palpitations and directing urgent care as necessary.

Additional Information
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Utilize Meditech EHR for electronic medical records.
  • Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Oregon.
