We are seeking a board-certified Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment in California starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers a 102-day contract with a schedule that includes weekday clinic and ER coverage, plus weekend 24-hour call. Candidates with rural health experience are encouraged to apply.

• LOA: 102 days
• Provider Type Needed: Cardiologist
• Schedule: 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday with weekday call coverage (ER plus clinic) approximately 17 days per month; 24-hour call coverage on weekends (2 days per month)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide cardiology consultations and direct patient care in clinic and ER settings
• Participate in weekday and weekend call coverage as scheduled
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Adhere to all applicable clinical protocols and standards

Additional Information

• Must hold an active California medical license
• Board certification in Cardiology required
