Job Description

We are seeking a well-rounded Cardiologist for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in Kansas, beginning Jan 12, 2026. This opportunity involves a mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults and rounding, as well as scheduled call coverage. The schedule includes Monday to Friday day shifts with weeknight call and 24-hour weekend and holiday call.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide general cardiology services in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Perform hospital service rounding, inpatient consults, and scheduled procedures
  • Manage on-call responsibilities, including a 30-minute in-person response time and 5-10 minute response by phone
  • Cover hospital general cardiology needs during weekends and holidays as required
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Additional Information
  • Active Kansas medical license required
  • Board certification in Cardiology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Strongly prefer availability for a minimum of 7 consecutive days per assignment block
