This role, commencing on Oct 20, 2025, involves inpatient coverage Monday through Friday, focusing exclusively on imaging responsibilities. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to various structural heart procedures using TEE, providing essential real-time imaging and procedural guidance.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide inpatient TEE imaging from Monday to Friday.
  • Utilize TEE for guiding transcatheter procedures including:
  • Pre-procedural assessments and intra-procedural guidance for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
  • Device placement and post-procedural evaluations for mitral and tricuspid valve interventions.
  • Supporting structural heart cases like ASD, PFO, and LAA closure devices, assessing defects or appendages, and evaluating post-procedure results.

Additional Information
  • Board certification in Cardiology required.
  • Valid Maryland medical license necessary.
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR systems.
