Job Description

Our client in New Mexico is actively seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Cardiology for a 120-day assignment, beginning Jun 25, 2026. This role involves a consistent Monday to Thursday 0800 - 1700 and Friday 0800 - 1200 schedule. The Physician will primarily focus on general outpatient cardiology, including reading walk-in EKGs and hospital ECHOs, conducting hospital rounding during assigned weeks, and managing an average of 15-20 patients daily in the cardiology clinic.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide general cardiology care, with a focus on outpatient settings.
  • Perform echocardiography and interpret walk-in EKGs and hospital ECHOs.
  • Manage 15-20 patients daily in the cardiology clinic.
  • Conduct hospital rounding during assigned weeks.
  • Experience with inpatient cardiology, ICU, TEE, Nuclear Cardiology, STEMI, invasive cardiology diagnostics, cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology is preferred.
  • Work within a Trauma facility, including ICU beds.
