Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologist with a valid NY license for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New York. Starting Nov 24, 2025, this opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule with half-day shifts split between clinic and hospital settings. The selected locum will be handling stress tests, EKGs, echocardiograms, and other cardiology cases. There is also a chance for an extension with this opportunity. 


Job Details

  • Schedule: Hospital and testing reads 8:30 am – 12 pm; Clinic 12:30 pm – 5 pm; Monday–Friday, two weeks per month

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Split time between clinic and hospital settings
  • See 15 to 18 clinic patients per day with scribe support
  • Perform treadmill stress tests, nuclear medicine stress tests, echo stress, Holter monitoring, EKGs, and echocardiograms
  • Conduct hospital rounds and handle approximately 35 consults per week
  • No emergency department coverage or on-call responsibilities

Additional Information

  • BC/BE in General Cardiology required
  • New York medical license required
