Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiologist Needed in TN

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiologist for a 30-day assignment in TN, commencing May 1, 2026. This vital role involves full-time weekday coverage for 10-hour shifts, supplemented by weekend call. The Physician will focus on inpatient rounding, collaborating with an APP team, and managing an average of 10 inpatient post-op patients daily within general inpatient, CCU, and ICU environments. No outpatient clinic work is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform inpatient rounding with the APP team
• Manage an average of 10 inpatient post-op patients per day
• Provide care for general inpatient and CCU/ICU patients
• Deliver full-time weekday coverage (10 hours) and weekend call coverage (24 hours)
• Address chest pain/ACS cases
• Manage heart failure
• Treat hypertension/dyslipidemia
• Handle atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias
• Address valve disease
• Perform preventive cardiology
• Conduct post-procedure follow-up
