This opportunity begins on Mar 30, 2026, and features weekday day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a structured call rotation. The ideal candidate will have recent CVOR experience, strong first assist skills, and proficiency in endoharvesting of vein and radial arteries, as well as postoperative management. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM; call rotation 1:5 (weekday call typically 12 PM–7 AM the next day; weekends Friday 7 AM–Monday 7 AM)
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide perioperative and intraoperative care in the cardiothoracic operating room
Perform endoharvesting of vein and radial arteries
Serve as first assist in cardiothoracic surgeries
Manage postoperative patient care and conduct consults
Collaborate with the surgical and nursing teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document patient care in the Epic EMR system
Additional Information
Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Wisconsin
Recent CVOR experience is required
Strong background in first assisting for cardiothoracic surgery
