Job Description

Our client in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 140-day assignment starting Jun 1, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive care, including CT surgery OR experience such as endoharvesting, first assisting, postoperative management, and various rounding duties from 7a-5p. The ideal candidate will also consult with hospitalists, the ED, and other referring services.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform CT surgery OR duties, including endoharvesting of vein and radial arteries.
• Provide first assisting during surgical cases.
• Manage postoperative care and consults.
• Conduct morning ICU rounding, cardiac medical unit rounding, and post procedural rounding.
• Consult with hospitalists, the ED, and various other internal and external referring services.
