We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon. Starting Dec 29, 2025, this role involves 24-hour call coverage with 1st call responsibilities and responding to emergent cases 2-3 nights per week, including rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will bring recent inpatient and first assist experience and hold the required certifications and licenses.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide first call coverage for cardiothoracic surgical cases
  • Respond promptly to emergent cases during assigned shifts
  • Participate in 24-hour call rotations, including nights and weekends
  • Deliver first assist support in the operating room
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care

Additional Information
  • Must have inpatient experience within the past 24 months, including first assist and OR
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
  • Active licensure in Oregon and Washington required
