We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 84-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Jan 5, 2026. This role is based in the cardiovascular and cardiothoracic ICU and step-down unit, with night shifts (6:30pm-7:30am) and flexible scheduling options, including 7 on/7 off or 4 shifts per week.

Responsibilities and Duties
Manage patients in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic ICU and step-down units
Perform procedures including balloon pumps, central lines, and chest tubes
Oversee admissions, discharges, and consults
No OR/first assist responsibilities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Additional Information
Must have active Physician Assistant license in Pennsylvania
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Experience in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic critical care essential; no new graduates
Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred
