Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin. This role begins on Mar 30, 2026, and features day shifts Monday through Friday, with call rotation and weekend coverage. The ideal candidate will have recent CVOR experience, first assist capabilities, and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide first assist support in cardiothoracic surgery cases, including endoharvesting of vein and radial arteries
  • Deliver perioperative and postoperative management, including patient consults
  • Collaborate closely with the surgical team in the CVOR setting
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation using Epic EMR
  • Participate in call rotation as scheduled

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active Wisconsin license
  • Recent CVOR and cardiothoracic surgery experience required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a surgical team
