Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Surgery - Cardiothoracic Needed in WI

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 140-day assignment in Wisconsin, starting Jun 1, 2026. This role involves 7a-5p shifts with responsibilities spanning CT surgery OR experience, including endoharvesting of vein and radial arteries, first assisting, and postoperative management and consults. The Physician Assistant will also provide morning ICU and cardiac medical unit rounding, post-procedural rounding, assist in surgical cases, and consult with hospitalists, ED, and various other internal and external referring services.

Responsibilities and Duties

• CT surgery OR experience including endoharvesting of vein and radial arteries
• First assisting in surgical cases
• Postoperative management and consults
• Morning ICU rounding
• Cardiac medical unit rounding
• Post-procedural rounding
• Assist in surgical cases
• Consult with hospitalists, ED, and various other internal and external referring services
