We are seeking a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in Connecticut, starting Feb 2, 2026. This opportunity features a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:45 AM to 5 PM, with approximately 7-8 night and weekend calls per month. Responsibilities and Duties
Perform procedures including descending aortic aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), off-pump CABG, and arterial revascularization using internal mammary, radial, and gastroepiploic arteries
Manage redo coronary revascularization cases
Conduct tube thoracostomy and pericardial window procedures
Address thoracic aortic aneurysms and perform heart valve repair/replacement surgeries
Utilize CoreValve System and perform mitral valve repairs
Additional Information
Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
Active Connecticut medical license required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
