Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 5-day assignment in Florida, starting Jul 23, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call, patient rounding, and handling emergency calls and procedures to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Perform rounding on patients, including post-operative follow-ups as needed.
• Handle emergency calls and procedures.
• Manage all aspects of emergent Cardiothoracic cases, including Aortic Valve Replacements, CABG, TAVR, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, and Heart Valve Surgery.
• Maintain detailed case logs for heart and thoracic cases.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required.
• Experience with Meditech EHR system.
