Barton is seeking a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 28-day locum tenens assignment in Oklahoma. This role begins on Dec 15, 2025, and features 24-hour out-of-house call shifts running from 8 am to 8 am. The selected locum will be handling general cardiothoracic procedures, and should have an active Oklahoma state medical license.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure continuity of care during call periods
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Additional Information

  • Must hold an active Oklahoma medical license
  • Required board certifications: Thoracic Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Prior experience in 24-hour emergency department call coverage preferred
