We are seeking a Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri. This role begins on Aug 4, 2025, and entails day shifts from Monday to Friday, focusing on post-operative care in a dynamic surgical environment. The candidate will manage various critical tasks including the removal of pacing wires, chest tubes, and other surgical drains, alongside consultations and patient discharges.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Handle occasional admissions and patient discharges
  • Ensure comfort with post-operative care, specifically with cardiac surgeries and pacemaker cases
  • Patient load: 10-18 per day
