Schedule: 7 on/7 off, 12-hour shifts (0600-1830); 1-2 call stretches per week; clinic is 4 hours daily with no direct patient care, primarily documentation and support; multiple rotation dates through Aug 23, 2026
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) with a target of 45 minutes per harvest (not to exceed 60 minutes)
Radial artery harvest preferred
Assist in ECMO cannulations
Support cases including CABG, aortic dissection, Impella placement and removal
Manage pre- and post-operative cardiovascular & thoracic surgical patients
Provide solo weekend coverage with attending physician available
Complete APP documentation for consult clinic (4-9 patients per day); attending present on Wednesdays and Thursdays
No LVAD or transplant cases
Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and patient management
Additional Information
Active Missouri Nurse Practitioner license required
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) required
Strong case logs and demonstrated EVH proficiency are essential
