Job Description

We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania beginning Nov 1, 2025. This full-time opportunity spans 30 days, featuring 3x12 hour in-house day shifts per week with regular weekday availability and weekend call coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide advanced clinical support for cardiothoracic surgery patients
  • Perform patient assessments and manage perioperative care
  • Collaborate with attending surgeons and the multidisciplinary team
  • Respond to emergencies and provide patient care during call hours
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and hospital guidelines

Additional Information
  • Active PA Nurse Practitioner license required
  • Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Temporary privileges approved
