Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide 24-hour call coverage for UAMS
• Perform surgical procedures from 7 am to 12 pm daily
• Conduct 1-2 procedures per day on average
• Specialize in aortic valve replacements, aneurysm repairs, and CABGs
• Handle complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a trauma center setting
• Participate in emergency and trauma surgeries as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records using Epic EHR
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate excellent surgical skills and patient care
