We are seeking an experienced Surgery - Cardiovascular and Thoracic Physician Assistant for a 7-day locum tenens opportunity in California, starting Jan 26, 2026. This role offers 8-10 hour shifts with a high likelihood of extension. The ideal candidate will have recent, proven expertise in vein grafting, endoscopic vein harvesting, and radial artery harvesting, supported by detailed case logs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform vein grafting procedures, including at least 50 cases within the past year
• Conduct endoscopic vein harvesting
• Execute radial artery harvesting
• Maintain comprehensive case logs demonstrating recent procedural experience
• Collaborate with the cardiovascular and thoracic surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care

Additional Information

• Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in California
• Recent hands-on experience with vein grafting required (within the past year)
• Ability to provide detailed case logs upon request
