We are seeking an experienced Surgery - Cardiovascular & Thoracic Physician Assistant for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins Jan 26, 2026, and offers 8-10 hour shifts. The ideal candidate will have recent vein grafting experience, including endoscopic vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting, with documented case logs from at least 50 cases in the past year. There is a high chance of extension for this assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform vein grafting procedures with demonstrated proficiency
• Complete endoscopic vein harvesting
• Conduct radial artery harvesting
• Maintain and provide up-to-date case logs from the past year
• Collaborate with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical teams
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards

Additional Information

• Must hold an active California license
• Must have performed at least 50 vein grafting cases in the past year
• Recent, hands-on experience in vein grafting, endoscopic vein harvesting, and radial artery harvesting is required
