Responsibilities and Duties
Assist in a range of cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries including CABG, aortic dissection, and Impella device management.
Perform radial and endoscopic vein harvesting; proficiency in EVH is highly valued.
Participate in ECMO cannulations and manage pre/post-operative care in a consultative clinic setting.
Ensure thorough documentation and support during clinic hours, with patient cases ranging from 4-9 per day.
Work collaboratively with attending surgeons and manage responsibilities independently on weekends.
Additional Information
Required Board Certification: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC)
Must be licensed to practice in Missouri
Familiarity with the Epic EMR system is essential for efficient workflow integration.
