Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week plus call (0600-1830); clinic support 4 hours daily; weekends as solo provider with attending available
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) with case logs required; target of 45 minutes per vein harvest, no more than 60 minutes
Radial artery harvest preferred but not required
Assist in ECMO cannulations
Support cases including CABG, aortic dissection, Impella placement and removal (no LVADs or transplants)
Provide pre- and post-operative management for cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients
Work in an onsite consult clinic connected to the hospital; support 4-9 patients per day (no direct patient care, assisting and documentation only)
Serve as solo provider on weekends with attending available
Complete all required documentation; Epic EMR utilized
Additional Information
Missouri PA license required
Demonstrated proficiency in EVH is the top hiring criterion
Strong case log documentation required
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) required if applicable
Flexible December start date due to provider retirement
