We are seeking a Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a full-time locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Jan 26, 2026. This 120-day opportunity offers 36-40 hours per week plus weekend call, with regular in-house shifts and home-based call coverage.   • Schedule: Three 12-hour in-house shifts (6am-6pm) per week, Monday through Friday; call coverage every ~5 weekends (Friday 6pm through Monday 6:30am), all calls from home; some ICU floor time required

Responsibilities and Duties
  • First assist in operating room, including use of Marquet equipment and EVH
  • Provide care primarily in the operating room, with some ICU floor responsibilities
  • Respond to home-based call (nights and weekends) as scheduled
  • Deliver comprehensive perioperative care for cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active Pennsylvania PA license (not accepting NLC)
  • Board certification or eligibility in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Not a PRN position; full-time commitment required
