Responsibilities and Duties
Assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
Manage patient care in collaboration with the cardiothoracic surgery team
Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency surgeries and patient care
Maintain detailed patient records using Epic EMR
Additional Information
Required Board Certification: Cardiothoracic Surgery
Must hold a valid Virginia PA license
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Demonstrated experience as a first assist in cardiothoracic surgery preferred
