Job Description

Our client in Virginia is seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 13-day assignment beginning Apr 17, 2026. This full-scope role involves floor rounds, EVH, radial harvesting, and first assisting in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, with a typical daily volume of two major cases such as CABG and SAVR, alongside participation in rounds.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform full scope Physician Assistant duties.
• Conduct floor rounds.
• Perform EVH and radial harvesting.
• First assist on cases such as CABG and SAVR.
• Cover the floor and participate in rounds.
• Occasionally see patients in the office.
• Expect to handle approximately two major cases per day, such as CABG and SAVR.
