Job Description

We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in Montana starting Dec 22, 2025. This 14-day opportunity involves clinic duties, weeknight and weekend call, and 24-hour shifts from 7AM to 7AM. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery and experienced with a broad range of complex cases.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform heart valve repair and replacement
  • Conduct heart defect repairs and coronary artery bypass procedures (CABG)
  • Manage aneurysm repairs, including EVAR and TVAR
  • Complete thoracotomies, triple As, and fistula procedures
  • Provide cardiothoracic surgical coverage for scheduled clinic and call shifts
  • Collaborate effectively with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Additional Information
  • Montana medical license required
  • Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications required
  • No heart transplant procedures included in this assignment
