We are seeking a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 50-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia, beginning Dec 19, 2025. This opportunity features a series of block shifts spanning December to February, providing specialized surgical coverage in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical care during scheduled blocks
• Perform both routine and complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure continuity of care
• Respond promptly to emergent cases and intraoperative consultations
• Maintain accurate and timely operative and patient care documentation
• Adhere to hospital protocols and quality assurance standards

Additional Information

• Active Virginia medical license required
• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
