Job Description

We are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a 51-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia. This opportunity begins on Aug 4, 2025, and offers a flexible part-time schedule, ideally 16 - 24 hours weekly, with possibilities for night shifts. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for comprehensive patient evaluations, follow-up care, and medication management.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct initial evaluations for new patients (1 hour per new eval)
  • Manage follow-ups with current patients (30 min each; 45 min for complicated cases)
  • Oversee comprehensive medication management
  • Utilize the EMR system myAvatar for documentation and management

Additional Information
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Valid DEA certification required
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a Georgia medical license
