Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 50-day locum tenens assignment in Iowa. This position starts on Oct 27, 2025, and involves managing approximately 15 patients per day during 10-hour shifts from 12p to 10p. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for rounding in a 14-bed ICU, handling 1-2 new encounters per shift, and performing consultations as needed. No procedural work is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Utilize Epic EMR system to document patient interactions
  • Maintain a professional and safe environment in a Trauma center ICU


Additional Information

  • Must be certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine required
  • Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Iowa
