Responsibilities and Duties
Manage the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) during night shifts
Oversee critically ill patients and respond to emergent situations
Place and manage Swan-Ganz catheters
Perform central line placements, intubations, vascular catheterizations, and arterial line insertions
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Additional Information
Active Physician Assistant license in New Mexico required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) preferred
Previous experience in a critical care setting highly desirable
