We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Physician Assistant for a 14-day locum tenens assignment in New York, beginning Feb 15, 2026. This opportunity offers day shifts from 7a to 7p within a not-for-profit community healthcare facility featuring emergency medicine, acute care, and a Trauma Center.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver advanced critical care services within a multidisciplinary team
  • Manage acutely ill adult patients in an ICU setting
  • Respond to emergency and trauma cases as part of a Trauma Center
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, hospitalists, and nursing staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Ensure compliance with facility protocols and quality standards


Additional Information

  • Must have current national certification as a Physician Assistant
  • Must have current or extensive Critical Care ICU experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Must hold NY licensure
  • Required board certifications: Critical Care Medicine; Critical Care Registered Nurse - Adult (CCRN-Adult)
