We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Physician Assistant for a 182-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio. This opportunity begins on Nov 3, 2025, and features night shifts from 6:30pm to 6:30am in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The schedule is flexible, offering options such as 7 on/7 off or stretches of dates each month. Candidates must have at least three years of experience in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as the sole in-house provider during SICU night shifts
• Manage critically ill surgical patients, including assessment, stabilization, and ongoing care
• Coordinate with the attending physician who is on call 24/7 via phone and available to come in if necessary
• Respond to emergencies and provide advanced trauma care as needed
• Document all patient encounters and care activities accurately
• Participate in patient handoffs and multidisciplinary rounds as required

Additional Information

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a critical care setting required
• Active Ohio license required
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required
• Start date may be flexible based on credentialing process
