Job Description
We are seeking a Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant for a 130-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Jan 5, 2026. This role offers a flexible weekday schedule with options for five 8-hour shifts (8am-4pm) or four 10-hour shifts in a Cardiac Surgery ICU.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide post-operative cardiac surgery ICU care for stepdown patients
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, thoracic surgeons, ICU attendings, and residents
- Manage an average daily census of 4-8 patients, with less than one surgery per day
- Perform procedures including central line placement, atrial line placement, chest tube removal, and pacer wire removal
- Deliver care in an ICU environment
Additional Information
- Active Ohio license required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) required
- Minimum 2 years of current CVICU experience preferred
- No operating room time required
