Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a 4-week locum tenens assignment with our client in Alabama, starting Dec 15, 2025. This opportunity offers a Monday through Thursday schedule, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, focusing on a wide range of dental procedures for both adults and children in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform hygiene checks, fillings, crowns, and bridge work
  • Complete premolar and anterior root canals, molar endodontics, simple and surgical extractions
  • Conduct bone grafts, implant restoration, third molar extractions
  • Provide full and partial denture services
  • Treat pediatric patients with pulpotomies, pulpectomies, extractions, and hygiene checks
  • Refer out only when necessary to support comprehensive in-house care

Additional Information
  • Must have an active Alabama dental license
  • Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental practice
  • Comfortable working with children
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
