We are seeking an experienced Dentist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Arizona, starting Dec 15, 2025. Dentists familiar with high-volume clinics and those proficient in exodontia are preferred, though not required. Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain overall dental care responsibility for management of dental services to each patient
Perform dental assessments, radiographic exams, and dental treatments, including emergency care such as oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and periodontal therapy within the scope of general dentistry
Formulate working diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate or modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes
Evaluate all patients returning from offsite dental visits
Participate in training and orientation of healthcare staff
Provide oral hygiene education and discharge instructions to all patients seen
Supervise and coach dental assistants
Ensure sterilization and disinfection of equipment
Additional Information
Active Arizona dental license required
Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
Experience in high-volume settings is preferred
Assignment begins as soon as credentialing and required screenings are complete
Experience with TechCare EMR preferred
