Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain overall dental care responsibility for management of dental services to each patient
Perform dental assessments, radiographic exams, and all dental treatment including emergency oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and periodontal therapy within the scope of general dentistry
Formulate working diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate or modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes
Evaluate all patients returning from offsite dental visits
Participate in training and orientation of healthcare staff
Provide oral hygiene education and discharge instructions to all patients seen
Supervise and coach dental assistants
Ensure sterilization and disinfection of equipment
Additional Information
Active Arizona dental license required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and DEA certifications required
Familiarity with TechCare EMR preferred
Providers with experience in high-volume clinic settings are highly desirable
Assignment start is dependent on completion of all credentialing requirements, including paperwork, TB, and drug testing
