Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dentist with a background in pediatrics for a 14-day locum tenens assignment in Idaho. This opportunity starts on Oct 14, 2025, offering day shifts Monday through Friday, including one evening shift midweek. The selected locum will be handling crowns, bridges, fillings, cleanings, extractions, and other general dentistry procedures. This facility also uses Denticon EMR.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive dental care to a full panel of patients, including pediatric cases
  • Work out of three dental chairs efficiently and collaboratively
  • Perform standard dental procedures such as examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Medicaid requirements
  • Educate patients and families on oral health and preventive care
  • Collaborate with other dental staff to deliver quality patient care

Additional Information

  • Must hold an active Idaho dental license
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration required
  • Medicaid certification required
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry strongly preferred
